At the Topanga Volunteer Fire & Forestry Department, we are committed to transparency, community trust, and responsible stewardship of the resources entrusted to us.
Our organization is governed by a formal set of bylaws that outline our mission, board structure, and operational procedures. These bylaws ensure that our decisions are made in the best interest of the communities we serve.
We have filed for 501(c)(3) nonprofit status with the IRS and the State of California. While we await our IRS Determination Letter, we are operating as a nonprofit in good faith and in alignment with all applicable laws and standards.
