Staying prepared means staying connected. Regular meetings and training sessions are at the heart of our mission to build a safer, more resilient Topanga Evacuation Zone 1. These events are designed to strengthen community coordination, provide critical skills, and keep us informed on fire safety, emergency response, and home hardening practices.
We aim to host two events per month to accommodate varying schedules:
Each event may include CERT training, wildfire preparation workshops, guest speakers, equipment demos, or planning and coordination meetings for our operational and neighborhood response teams.
To ensure that no one misses out, we’ll document and share key takeaways from each event through meeting notes, video recaps, and audio recordings, whenever possible.
To keep our organization strong and ready, we ask that active members attend at least one event per month. Your presence helps build trust, share knowledge, and make sure we’re all ready when it counts most.
